Éléonore Chamberland

Research Associate, MSc in Mathematics, Laval University, Canada

Éléonore completed a master’s degree in applied mathematics at Laval University in 2023. Her research focused on the creation and analysis of a dynamic mathematical model of the development of Alzheimer’s disease in the brain. More specifically, the model allows to study the role of amyloid beta accumulation, tau protein hyperphosphorylation, and inflammation on neuronal loss. Éléonore is interested in mathematical modeling of biological and populational phenomena, such as epidemics, through dynamic systems, and in the treatment of diseases. She joined our team in order to apply her skills in the use and development of the more complex models required for modeling infectious diseases, as well as to acquire new knowledge and skills.
